New to the Crew

MDSM has quite a few exciting new projects in the lineup, and with that growth comes the opportunity to grow our team. We’re excited to welcome two new members who are bringing valuable experience, fresh perspectives, and new skills to MDS Maintenance: Tyson and Mitchel!

Welcome, Tyson!

Tyson joins MDS Maintenance as a Project Manager, bringing with him a strong background in construction and four years of hands-on industry experience. Having grown up in the Houston area, he also brings valuable familiarity with the geography and communities surrounding many of our projects.

He first heard about MDSM from a friend who had great things to say about the company. That positive impression was quickly confirmed during his onboarding, where he was welcomed by a team that was friendly, helpful, and eager to support him.

Throughout his career, he has gained valuable experience in the field, including once managing a Chick-fil-A project in Houston that included three underground detention tanks. He is excited to bring his experience to MDSM while continuing to learn, grow, and expand his knowledge of the trade.

Tyson is already putting his experience to work as he takes on his first project with MDSM: managing the new construction of the MDS Maintenance office in Navasota, TX. We’re excited to see the expertise and perspective he brings to the project while sharing a few of our own tricks of the trade along the way.

We’re excited to have Tyson on the MDSM team and look forward to watching him grow with us, learn from the team, and contribute to the success of our upcoming projects.

Welcome, Mitchel!

We’re also excited to welcome Mitchel to the MDSM team! Mitchel joins us with a bachelors degree in Construction Management from South Dakota State, and several years of construction experience where he once completed a highway reconstruction project that involved over eight-miles of regrading and several new box culverts through existing waterways.

He has made the move from Iowa to Texas to begin this next chapter of his career with hopes to soon learn the ins-and-outs of the trade and begin managing projects on his own. Determined, resourceful, and understanding, Mitchel displays a readiness to hit the ground running.

Starting out as a Superintendent, Mitchel will be working on the new MDS Maintenance office project alongside Tyson. Together, with guidance from our other PMs, they’ll bring their respective experience to the jobsite, learn from one another, and work as a team to help bring the project to life.

We’re excited to have them both on board and look forward to seeing all that they bring to MDSM!

Building the Future Together

As MDSM continues to take on new projects and opportunities, we’re proud to continue building not only great projects, but also a great team. Tyson and Mitchel are already helping us take the next step, and we’re thrilled to have them along for the journey.
